Ok I had this dream and it wasn't a normal one. It was an actual step by step one for a straight week and it was really only 4 hours that i had been asleep. It started as me waking up I hung out with my girlfriend I went out and everything the fourth day I woke up and met up again with my girlfriend and that night I walked her to the bus stop and some guy started shooting at someone else and we where in the middle of it. It was so scary I felt the bullets rip me apart I fell to the ground and started coughing blood then I died and I was looking down and saw my body a whole bunch of people screaming around me. Then I woke up to sweating and throw up in my mouth that I was chocking on can anyone tell me what this means its not the full dream but its what I remembered the most. Thanks

Two things: If you are taking any new medication or if you are currently ill (virus, flu) your dreams can get a little tilted.

Next: Have you been in any long term stressful situations lately? Sometimes when we push our fears to the back of our mind those thoughts can come out in various ways.
Sometimes our fears are acted out in our dreams.

Try a relaxing drink before bed time. Hot Tea, etc...

Good luck and good rest.

Well that was certainly a nightmare. It suggests that you are worried about being the victim of a shooting, which suggests you are living in a place where shootings do occur. You worry about being shot but repress this fear, and then the fear surfaces in your dreams. Your options in waking life are to be careful and observant so you don't become a victim, or leave this environment for one you can feel safe and relaxed in.

Death can mean a sudden change will come into your life. It will frighten you but change can be a good thing. It will be very unexpected and you won't have any control over it. . Don't automatically assume that this dream is bad. Good Luck.

anxiety dream
Dreams with violent themes suggest that the dreamer has unconscious negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, and anger. If you are not dealing with these feeling consciously, your dreams are compensating and bringing into awareness the need for honest reflection and emotional balance in daily life.
