and erm..i appreciate the response computertech82 but im looking at just plain PCI, not PCI-E..and if your saying PCI-Expresses are poor performers then you really need to check your sources..PCI-E's are the latest and top preformers :P

ok ok sorry for like the third editing, but one more thing i must ask, the 6200 card that a user has provided the link for has 128mb of RAM, is this still an improvement to the 5600 with 256mb RAM? and im not sure if i means anything but i have 1.5gigs of RAM on my computer :P thank you :)

Some 9250s support DirectX 9c but MOST and by that I mean all but two don't. The 5600 series from nvidia is fully DirectX 9c compliant but if you're hoping to play games... games like FEAR or the upcoming Crysis you will be pushing the limits of a 5600. But since you have a PCI slot you may not have much of a choice. I'd consider a 6200 series though I can't say it will be much better than a 5600 since... well no one uses PCI graphics cards anymore. At least gamers and reviewers don't... and guess what I am?

Still, the 6200 PCI version will run you about $43, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143058 it's about as good as you will do with PCI... still I wouldn't swear to it being able to play FEAR.

both are extremely poor performers. The best PCI card is the Radeon x1300, and soon-to-be Radeon X1550. But they are not exactly at the top of the list.
