because you all think that you all know what your doing, and that your all right.
but trust me, I've been where you are, you want to be independent and heard, but you know what when you get to know the real world you will wish you listen to your parents more.

Have you been talking to my teenage son? He sounds exactly like you. It's not that we underestimate you, we think you are smart, too smart for your own good sometimes. As you grow older, you learn things that you know aren't good for you, let alone your teenager. It is not underestimating, it is more like "been there done that, and we know the consequences, of the actions that come from underestimating when we were young." One thing I always remember is that my mom used to say to me, "That you always learn from your mistakes", it's just that if you made mistakes you don't want anyone else (especially your kids) to make the same mistakes you did, so that is why you feel underestimated.

i'm 60+ and that i'm in many circumstances on Yahoo/solutions approximately 2 hours an afternoon (i individually could get a existence). I answer questions interior the "those with Disabilities," "Politics and government" and "government" sections in basic terms and that i think of the popular public of those in those sections are adults aside from the babies who desire somebody to do their homework for them.

Because even though their bodies have grown up, their minds haven't. Plus most of them do stupid stuff, and you gotta prove yourself. They have a bad rep. I know plenty of 'adults' that act worse than teenagers, ditto some old people.

Teens seem to do things rashly without thinking things through. This has gotten them a bad rap.

You'll answer your own question as you get older. Nothing beats life experience, respecting your elders shows character.
