Wow never heard this one before. Why is it this Republican had to hear poor Tony Dungy asked 5 million times how it felt to be the first black coach to be in the Superbowl. Liberals are the ones that notice race.

All republicans aren't racist, but the republican party is the party that accepted all the pro-segragation democrats into the party fold after they got fed up with the procivil rights stance of democrats like John F. Kennedy and LBJ. Doesn't help that during Strom Thurmonds 100th birthday party in 2002, the then Republican Senate Majority leader (a very high position in politics) Trent Lott from Mississippi stated that if the rest of the country would have voted for the Thurmond during the '48 presidential election like Mississippi did "...we wouldn’t have had all these problems over the years, either." It is worth noting that Thurmond ran his campaign on segragation and maintaining racism througout the south. Doesn't help when up until recently the party had Jesse Helms as a member who describe latinos as "volatile" and whistled the offensive song "Dixie" in the presence of a black congresswoman he was having a political disagreement with. Helms also opposed a Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Also, there is Rush Limbaugh, who was credited for helping the republicans gain control of Congress in '94, who racebaits every chance he gets, saying things like the majority-black NFL looks like "...bloods and the crips without weapons." At the end of the day though we have to remember that way back during the Civil War years and the Jim Crow era it was the democrats who were the racist party and even today Democratic Senator Byrd from West Virginia was a former KKK member, so racism exist in some form in both parties.

I'm not racist at all. To name one group I don't support are the illegal immigrants. That does not make me racist. I just think that anyone from ANY country should not come here and suck our system dry, demanding more than what good honest hard working American citizens get and demanding that we change our ways to their customs. This is America for crying out loud.
I get along with everyone, it doesn't matter was race or gender. I just love how the libs call us racists because we are against actions and behaviors, not races.
That is like saying remaining libs are America haters. I know some are and some aren't, but I don't label all of them. Just most of them because of their anti-American rhetoric.

Republicans have always been racists. You can go all the way back to Stephen Douglas' support of slavery, Rep. Howard Smith and Senators Eastland, Thurmond, Russell, Byrd and co.'s opposition to civil rights legislation, to the fierce opposition to putting the second black justice on the supreme court in the in the early 90s. Oh wait, all of that was done by democrats. Nevermind.

Last time I checked, the democratic party had the most ex-grand wizards in office. Those racist republicans are the party that freed the slaves. Must be too much "air america" radio.

If you blindly believe all the sound bites you hear on TV, sure. If you prefer to talk to real people and come to your own conclusions, then I'd say no.
