This is hard to answer. There is one answer if the two of you are eight years old, another answer if you are both 18 years old and a third answer if one of you is 12 and the otjher is 18.
Probably the best thing that you coud do is be totally honest. Tell him that you like him, tell him the why's of why you like him. Tell him what made you attracted to him. Tell him what you would like to see different about him. And then finally ask him what he thinks about you. Don't put pressure on him, keep it simple, and good luck.

Well, I am an 8th grader, and A boy i liked was a goth, and he didn't care about anything in this world. I just started hanging out with him. We walked together on the track during gym all of the time. One day, I was running track, and the guy kissed me! The night before, I did a love spell. If it wasn't that spell, then it was just spending time with him. Mainly, I think you should just talk to him. Get to know him.
