My friend always seems flirty, but i'm not sure if it's just being flirty or friendly in her own way, I'll let you decide. Well everytime we stand in a little group and talk, she's always looking at me even though i'm not talking, and she'll be facing me the whole time and sometimes staring me down. Sometimes she'll get very close to me to where her hair touches my arm. If i don't do something that satisfies her, she'll make a little pouty face, then laugh about it. One time i layed my head down on her side of the table just to annoy her, but she lay her head down on top of my back. Why does she act like this? I'M A GIRL. But she completely ignores me around her friends.

Let's see I assume you guys are younger. When boys and girls are young they go through all types of mixed feeling about different things, especially sexuality. Your friend is just young and going through those mixed emotions. She just feels comfortable being touchy feely with you because you are the one she is close to. Now does that mean shes gay, maybe or maybe not. I have known guys that have girl friends but still feel relaxed being really touchy feely with guys. Some people just feel better when they are with the same sex. And they are totally straight. Remember everyone is not born with that clear cut thought of boy for girl and girl for boy mentality. I think that you should just be a good friend and be there for your friend. On the other hand if it is really bad with her then still be a good friend, just just talk to her in private about how you feel. Don't be harsh it could really scar her for life. Good Luck

She's messing with your head. That or she is just a complete witch. She ignores you around others, but when you are alone you are good enough to talk to and be herself around, whatever that may be. She may of realised that it turned you on or just embarassed you. She may of realised that you are a good friend, buying her stuff, doing things for her, so on and so on. She just doesn't want to risk others knowing that she is friends with you because that will embarass her, possibly ruin her status as "COOL", whatever. I say be the first to tell her to go *@#% herself, because when she is done with you, that's exactly what she is going to do.

i think she is a lesbian or bisexual. it seems to me like she is trying to get close to you. when she acts flirty just pull away, and act aloof don't pay attention, maybe she will get the message. )that is, if you don't like her back.)
if that doesn't work, tell her straight up. if she still does this, seriously consider your friendship. tell her you can't be more than friends. and you don't feel comfortable with her doing stuff like this. hopefully, as a good friend she will understand. if she doesn't, then you should consider if she really is your friend.

Well are you interested in her if not then let her know. The other thing is that she may not like you at all and is doing it to bug you and piss you off. So set her straight and tell her weather or not your interested in her. And if she bugging you it's not working. You know some girls can get catty.

One of three possibilties, gay, bi, or just strange. Either way, avoid her uless you want to join the carpet ride bunch. You do not need to be friends with everyone. It is OK not to hang with certain people. Freinds should be special people that trust and support you, not whatever she is trying to do.

I have a close girl friend that I am touchy feely with not on the gross way but we are really good friends. Are you really good friends with her. Maybe she thinks of you as her really good friend and she doesn't know how else to show it to you.

Maybe she really likes you... REALLY likes you, I wouldn't be too assertive just in case she has strong feelings for you... maybe you should just try to live normally and she'll stop if it's just a jokey phase!
