This must be a trick question! Bush has only done one "good" thing: Created the "Do Not Call" registry. Other than that, he's been pretty useless: started a pointless war, pissed away our record surplus, hasn't secured our borders, cut funding for education, cut funding for first responders, alienated most of our allies, raped Mother Nature, failed to adequately move us toward energy independence (and no, sheep, drilling in ANWR is NOT "energy independence"), and plays BlTCH to his corporate masters.
As for Clinton? He had his faults, just like every president (or person for that matter), but overall he did a decent job. He didn't turn this country into a total pooch-screw like his successor did.

You are entirely right.

Bush's big accomplishments:

(1) The intelligence leading up to the War in Iraq.
(2) The prosecution of the War in Iraq.
(3) The response to Hurricane Katrina.

What can Clinton claim to have done as well as these three things?

In reality, the main difference between these two figures is this:

President Clinton was an opportunist masquerading as a reformer. President Bush II is an incompetent masquerading as a realpolitiker.

Stop clumping liberals all into the same pile. We are not all alike just like all conservatives are not alike. I was with Bush all the way until he went into Iraq. He lost me there. I appreciate the good he did. But he should have stayed in Afghanistan after Bin Laden. No one from Iraq was involved in 9/11. The Constitution affords us all, Liberals and Conservatives, to feel the way we wish. Those are the words of George Bush. So if I'm alright with him? And Clinton brought disgrace on the Oval Office. So see, you can't use Liberals and mean all of us.

Republican policies benefit the wealthy and corporations. Democratic policies benefit the average citizen. Many people's lives greatly improved due to the Clinton Democratic policies. (No, not welfare) His policies gave hardworking people the opportunity to improve their lives.
The conservative attitude toward the average citizen is "sink or swim". If a person is down and out during the reign of the Republican party, he/she will likely stay that way during those years unless he/she works several jobs. What a life. The poverty rate has greatly increased since Bush has been president as well as the number of homeless just like during the Reagan administration. The "trickle down" economy is just rhetoric. Instead of trickling down, it goes to Mexico, China, and some places I've never heard of. The CEO's have become the recipients of what would have been shared by those who make a company tick. This administration has the most obvious policies toward "corporate welfare" in history.
Its much easier to forgive an indiscretion committed by someone who has made your life so much more tolerable than it is someone who barely acknowledges your existence. I haven't noticed anything good he has done. The future of the United States seems very bleak to me since Bush became president for many reasons that are all too obvious to about 70% of the population.

Clinton did poleny wrong. First shrunk the cia and military, liked to a federal grand jury, travelgate, pardoning one of the worst criminals around, Mark Rich who fled the country to avoid prosecution, ignored the 1991 bombing of the World Trade Center, did nothing when are embassies were bombed twice, did nothing whe the USS Cole was attacked, andof course did not catch Osama bin Laden even though he had five chances Not to mention leaving ghe white house with another 20 million more then he came in with and has made another 40 million in speeches since he left. Clinton's legacy is getting worse by the minute.

I, too, was pro-Bush and Republican, until Bush told his lies on television. I didn't need any liberal media to tell me he had lied. I heard him warn Iraq that they better let the weapons inspectors in or we would come in.
Guess what, they let the weapons inspectors in, but we went in anyway.
Lie 2: We started the war because of Weapons of Mass Destruction. The reason changed to dethroning the evil dictator, when no WMD was found.

I think history will mark Mr. George W(MD) Bush as the most damaging president in history. My nephew is in the Marines and I am quite proud of him. I don't want, though, for him to die for a pack of lies.

I'm not sure what good things you're talking about. Maybe I'm having a hard time appreciating them because of the two stolen presidential elections, ignorance and apathy regarding terrorist threats prior to 9/11, a trumped up war in Iraq...etc. Bush did manage to get me intensely interested in national and international politics though. I consider that to be a good thing.

Bush Lies to you, just like clinton did. Both were dishonest, but Clinton had sex, and Bush sent thousands to their death.

Because Clinton did nothing wrong. Simple as that. A Clinton can do nothing wrong. A republican can do everything wrong.
