I have a laptop with a built in webcam facing me. I've seen people use theirs for a quick mirror check. How do I do this? I can't figure out how to turn the darn thing on let alone use it at all. I've never used a webcam before. Help!

I have a HP Pavilion dv6258se with a built in webcam. I know it works b/c the only thing I've got it to open in is the quicklaunch program. But that takes forever and I can't just turn on the camera. How do I do that?

It will depend all on your computer. So we can't really tell you how to do it unless we know what computer and setup you have. I have a Logitech camera and I just open Logitech Quickcam and it opens the camera, as long as plugged in. Some MAC's have the camera built in. I would try searching for the word cam on your computer and see what programs come up.
