The easiest, quickest and best way is to sit at the bar. Your drinks are free anytime you're playing anywhere in any casino, but If you're sitting at the bar you don't have to wait for the waitress to make her rounds, order the drinks and find her way back around to you.

There are so many incredible bars in LV you will not have any trouble finding a cool one. Most casino bars have video poker, put $20 in, play slowly, .25c at a time if you like and the drinks are free. I do tip the bartender the same as I would the cocktail waitress, $1 a drink.

Yes you can walk the strip or Fremont St. with a drink, so long as you behave and are not intoxicated.

To answer the second part first, the laws in Las Vegas are this: You are allowed to walk down the Las Vegas Strip while carrying an open alcoholic beverage. However, that does not hold true for all of Las Vegas. It is illegal to walk down just a random street in Las Vegas with an open container.

As for easiest/quickest... It usually has more to do with the section of the casino that you are playing in and how busy it is. If you are playing in the penny section of the casino on a SUPER BUSY night, you will not be getting tipsy on free drinks any time soon. Moving up to at least the quarter machines will get you some quicker service and the dollar section will keep the free drinks flowing quickly.

Have a great time in Vegas.

Casinos give "free" drinks to all players. The key word of course being"free". Free drinks can cost an arm and a leg if you are losing. There have been many times when I wished I had just went into a bar not connected to a casino and just PAID for my drinks. It would have been a lot cheaper. All those beautiful casinos are not built and subsidized on Winners' money. Its all a gimmick....although granted its a "fun" gimmick. And yes you can walk down the strip with a drink in your hand. Thats "fun" too and all part of the atmosphere of Vegas.

I went to Vegas 3 years ago. You will get free free drinks at any of the casinos as long as you are playing the machines. Obviously, the machines that cost more to play will be catered to a little more. Of course, it proper to tip the waitresses, so be kind. We stayed on the strip, and yes, you can walk down the street while having a drink, at least "on the strip". There are a lot of free shows at different hotels. You can go to these even if you are not staying there. Hope you have lots of fun!!

You can get free drinks at all casinos IF you are playing the slots, tables. Heck, put a dollar in a penny machine and wait 30 seconds....a waitress will show up and offer you a buffet of liquor.
Yes, you can walk down the street and drink. Viva Las Vegas :)

It's not about the casino itself... it's about attracting the right kind of attention. They all operate in pretty much the same way.

Just sit down at one of gambling areas (especially slot machines and video poker) and play. You don't have to spend a ton of money, but you want to create the illusion that you've been there for a while. The trick is to look like an addicted zombie.

Eventually, one of the casino workers will walk by and offer you a drink. It may not be the drink you wanted (usually it's something basic like gin and tonic)... but it will be free.

While you may drink in public on the Strip, it is considered rude to take a free drink outdoors or to another casino.

I lived in Vegas for 2 years and my personal favorite for getting actual free drinks without having to gamble is the Treasure Island sports book. I found this out because I just wanted to watch a football game that wasn't on my cable tv at home. I was sitting in there watching the game and they kept bringing me free drinks. I guess they figure if you're in there watching you must have bet on the game. This is what made Vegas great to me, watching every football game at the same time and drinking free alcohol at 10am.

Yeah you can. Most Casinos just give you the drinks. Sometimes they have a waiter/ess walking around with wine and such....
What do they have to lose anyway. They spend a few bucks on wine and you hopefully feel really lucky.
