You're left with God alone. "spiritual stuff" will leave you empty every time. God's love won't ever leave you empty or leave you where you are.
Also.. if suicide becomes the center of your thought process, eventually, you will follow through. You must not let it become the center of your thought process. What you think about determines what you will become.
Just a suggestion: read the Bible. Look in there for a God who loves. I think you'll be surprised. If you only read part of it, try John.

You don't need an new distraction from reality. You need to change your attitude about reality. You need to change your perspective about reality and about yourself.
I gather that your perspective about reality and yourself is pretty pessimistic and so I suggest a book called "Learned Optimism" by Martin Seligman.
You may also want to look at some of the programs by Anthony Robbins, especially the ones that deal with emotional balance.

You know the best way is to be content on what you have at the moment, and to emprove on that eevry day,one day at a time.
Life is what you make of it,and seems like a change is in order for you.
The best way to get out of a slump is to make new friends , Go places you can talk to people of same intrests or something you might be interested in. New places, get out of your ruteen,
But most of all talk to a hot line ,Letting off steam and getting things out in the open, without the face to face nurves
You are left with...the rest of your life.....Make the change and be happier

Which Spiritual stuff..?
God can help you..but if you must look elsewhere try finding support groups where people are in the same frame of mind as you.
You can bounce off your feelings with them. Sometimes it helps to know that you're not alone.

Probably a support group of people who are struggling with the same issues that you are struggling with. And an answer to the question "why don't I just kill myself?" The answer to this question will be the foundation to build your life upon. Everyone has something to live for if they look for it.

your life, your health.
Anyone can find countless bad things in their life, but it take a smart, wise person to look for what you do have. No matter how bad things might seem, they can always get worse. Believe me, so never take things for granted. smile even though you might not want to. Go outside for a walk. Sunshine can make sad people feel better. Do you have a cat or dog? If not go adopt one... they're a good friend to have. Be happy, I hope you feel better
