Congrats! I had my breast reduction Feb 2006 and I love it. So does my back!

Make sure you see at least THREE plastic surgeons before choosing who you want the surgery to be done with... I personally went with the second PS because I found out that I didn't like the first one. Look at their before and after pictures, especially of ones that have your body type and breast size. Ask questions, as many as you can, write/type them down and bring it into the office.

Take off two weeks at least for recovery from work, you shouldn't lift heavy object for at least that time, and up to a month. If you do more heavy work at work, then take more time off.

You will be swollen and bruised for a long time, so please be patient in your recovery. ANY questions you can ask your plastic surgeon, he/she is there to help you!

No showing your scars for at least a year, or until they turn white. Mederma and ScarGuard help to lighten scars. Which means bikinis for a year. If they see the sun (even through your swimsuit!!!) they will turn PERMANENTLY red~!!!

Your breasts won't fit into their final shape for about a year as well, so don't go buying a ton of bras in your size until about a year post op. I've pretty much stayed the same size, but I've heard from a lot of women (in a forum at one of the links below) that they dropped a cup size or two.

I went to amazon and bought Arnica Montana tablets. These help with your swelling and bruising. There is also something you can take at http://www.makemeheal.com .

I bought a few bras from http://www.breasthealthonline.com two in my current band size and two a band size larger to accommodate for swelling after recovery. That site also has a forum with TONS of information. There are many forums regarding breast reductions that you could look at in case you need to ask your PS any questions, it really helped me out!!!

I wish you good luck!!!
