What kind of vet do you want to be?

If you are looking at working with farm animals, you probably want to look at a school in the Midwest. My recommendation there would be Iowa State University.

If you want to work more with pets (cats, dogs, iguanas, etc.) I would suggest looking at a college on either the East Coast or the West Coast near a major population center.
