I've just decided which college I want to go to. How do I tell the other colleges who have accepted me that I am rejecting their offer for admission? The reason is that I keep on getting letters from the colleges I've been accepted to, wondering what my decision status is. Thanks for your help!

I am assuming you are really busy towards the end of your senior year, so do not waste your time with a formal letter.

The colleges I applied to sent me a card to send back with a box to check. I sent those back to them. Some I didn't do anything. They will figure out you're not coming when you fail to send them the first big check!

Hope your first year goes well! Have fun!

You write them a formal letter thanking them for accepting you. Then you tell them that you will not be accepting their offer.

Yes, write them a formal letter and let them know that you will keep them in mind.
