My little sister needs to do a project on Sojourner Truth, Can u help ??

ok... My little sister is in 2nd grade and she has to do a biography, do you have any ideas for her. I thought of doing a newspaper and burning the edges but i dont know... Please Help

you could do that (get an adult to help), or else , maybe a better idea, is to dip the paper in tea, ,,, that will age it, and make it look old,,,,you can do the whole thing, or just the edges,,,, just get a large pan, make and put some strong tea in it,, and dip the papers real quick, dont let them stay,,,,, then lay them out to dry,,,, you can do it either before or after you make up the page /pages, meaning write/type on them ,,,,, wikipedia has some info on her, and a photo you might use

since she is only in second grade, be sure to remember that at this stage it's not about who has the best project. teachers know that all of the students are getting outside help, so make sure that any information in her project is actually something interesting to her and something that she'll remember. the teacher just wants to make sure they've learned something, not that they know how to make a thirty page booklet and powerpoint presentation about all of the person's minor accomplishments.

you may want to go over the life of sojourner truth with her and ask her to pick out the most interesting fact to her or pick out something that she thinks best represents the person. anything will help. just be creative and keep her interested and involved.
