A pack for acne or pimple prone skin would be that of honey (1 tsp) with 1/2 (tsp ) of cinnamon powder. Apply for 15 minutes. Due to the antiseptic properties, bacterial infections in the skin are treated. More remedies at the link below.

Proactiv is just hyped-up crap with the same active ingredients as many other over-the-counter remedies. It's just a result of good marketing that relies on typical public stupidity. People don't know how to read or understand the ingredient listings. They're impressed by the commercials and waste a bunch of money on it not realizing that you can buy Wal-Mart brand facial soap and acne treatment containing the same active ingredients for 1/6 the price.

Oh, and btw, generic acetiminophen and Tylenol are the same. But does this keep people from spending twice as much for Tylenol? No, of course not. Because they see the commercials on tv. Therefore, it must be better.

first off, drink lots of water, don't scrub your face too hard. Also Proactiv is great but the walmart alternative is also wonderful. Be careful not to let your skin dry out as many acne treatments are harsh on the skin. If nothing else works go to a dermatologist.

p.s. I've also used baking soda and rubbing alcohol as a mask and it dried pimples up. also use a cotton ball soaked in peroxide. it takes the redness out. it'll leave a little white spot after a few minutes but it'll be gone in a few hours

Get some aspirn (it has to be 100 percent aspirn) and crush it up in a little cup and add water. Dab this solutin on your face and either use it as a spot treatment or full-face mask. I swear this works. Aspirn has salycic acid in it which fights acne. Its a cheap and effective way to get a good complextion.

Oxy Wash or Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser. They both contain the medicine benzoil peroxide which kills the acne-causing bacteria & helps skin clear up.
Also, buy a multivitamin. Make sure it has both zinc & vitamin A in it. Take with breakfast.

I use proactiv. If you use it as they say, your acne will greatly dissapear. Its about $27 with shipping.

Also, drink water and eat apples. The apples help cleanse your system, as does the water.
