I saw alot of back peddling and I do not respect people who do that. You cant just pick and choose what you are going to obey in the bible, and you did shed some light on the hypocritical things some christians say about people of other faiths. Lets face it, people want religion to be like a buffet, where they take what they want and leave the rest, and it seems like any religion that doesnt offer an open buffet, suddenly becomes an evil cult like following that people will say needs to be destroyed. This just goes to show how troll like some people of faith can be.

Well it all depends upon how you take this stuff... you can read between the lines a little.
Timothy 2
11A woman should learn in quietness and full submission.
(as long as you are being submissive to a man who is worthy of being submissive to.. submissive does not mean doormat)
12I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.
(again, if he is worthy of that respect)
13For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
(not meant to be taken literally)
14And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.
(equality of the sexes, good good)
Saint Paul 1 Corinthians 14
As in all the congregations of the saints, 34women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says.
(maybe this means no female preachers... hey, i'm for that)
35If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
(they mean try to act like you have bigger set of hoo ha's than your husband)
Saint Paul Ephesians 5
22Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
(if he is worthy, i'd submit.. woo hoo)
23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
(men are the providers, women have the babies, come on now, it IS as true now as it was in grog and agra's time)
24Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
If you are with a man you love and respect, then you would do these things without them having to be written in a verse... you naturally would do these things.
I myself do not go to church, but I can see how I would want to be with a man who I automatically jumped to do what he wanted/needed...
there is also a verse in the bible about how you can get a divorce if you are unevenly yoked.
So if you are with a man who asks you to do something you don't feel comfortable with, or are being disrespected.. then youa re unevenly yoked and bye bye hasta la vista to him... see how that works.
Of course it is ok to obey a husband... just make sure you are married to one who makes you glad to do it.
Scenario:
He says: "Please honey, come in here when you get a minute. There is something I want to show you"
She thinks: "Woo hoo"
It's all open to interpretatation.

I think you've got an agenda and a lot of female "Christian" friends.
Good luck.

I really don't think that people should take the bible literaly. But hey, if they want to, that's their religion and right. But don't ask me to dumb down bc I'm an independent woman. haha

Again, context and understanding are woefully absent in your pointed attack on the Word of God, but now I see you've added gleeful hate.

You obviously need attention pretty badly and the other observation that I have is that you have far too much time on your hands.
