how can i save web pages to view offline?

just click on save as...from the file menu and save the web page as a file

File>Save As....>Go from there. And Make it avaiable offline by right clicking on the saved icon and select "avaiable offline"

Add as a Favorite in IE and check the box that says "make available offline"
