My mother in-law has a Kenmore gas range apox. 15 years old. Her eletronic timer/clock isn't readable. The LED display is EXTREMLY dim. I have tried to get a replacement but have been told by Sears that the manufacture is no longer making that part.
I am looking for used part supplier or any other ideas.

Try www.repairclinic.com. Pretty good at finding what I've needed for that past few years.

While I understand that fixing it is cheaper, I would say that 15 years out of a range is an excellent initial investment and i would just go buy a new one. I deal with sears quite a bit and even if they could get the part it would probably cost you a good chunk of what a new one would cost you.

i'd propose conversing to service techs on your section. like each and every product all of them have there proportion of lemons. some equipment are over offered or operation preparation not examine which don't have something to do with there high quality or longevity. There are actually not many shifting areas on a gasoline variety. Your utilities, utensils and cooking skill would have extra bearing the failure then the levels function.
