No ... love is a CHOICE. Infatuation, often mistaken for love, is a temporary emotion.

LOVE is a very complicated emotion. When it is real, it lasts forever. On the other hand, you know the saying, "There's a thin line between love and hate"? Well, it's true. The same person we used to love can become our worst enemy if our perception of them is different from the way they truly are or if they hurt us in a way that goes beyond repair.
The reason that people are divorcing and separating is that we live in a society that offers way too many choices (internet, dating services, etc). We have the attitude that "I don't have to put up with this!". And we break up over issues that really can be resolved with a little desire and determination. It's a sign of the times.

There are many reasons why people divorce. In my view lack of common goals is the main reason people go their different ways and not so much for want of love.
If you view divorce as the correction of an error and if we can learn from our mistakes then all is well with the world.

No Love is always being "in love" is temporary. It seems that when that initial "rush" of love fades is when the real stuff takes over( if you are truly in love). This is when you answer each others questions before they are done being asked, you call home just for the heck of it... Do you see what I mean? I hope this answers your ? .

No....it's not temporary. So many people nowadays don't take responsibility for their own lives. They look to other people or things to determine if they're going to have a good day... or life. I don't know where we picked this up from but it's definitely taking the place of self-worth and morals and values of good character. We're expectant and ungrateful.

I think that love is definitely a choice. Falling in love is easy, staying that way is the tricky part. I don't think society makes it easy these days, divorce is normal and too easy of a way out.

Is the love for your parents and siblings temporary? There is nothing temporary about love. Obsession, infatuation, fondness all that can be temporary, but love is forever.

Love isn't an emotion. Love is Love! It just makes people feel happy and good inside.

no... if two people really love each other then no love isn't temporary.... but if you love someone and they fall out of love with you, you have to question if they really ever loved you at all... maybe they felt like they did but never really did....
