I don't think that it's unusual to feel lonely even if you have lots of friends. I've heard that people feel more alone when they are in crowds of people.

If you find it difficult to communicate, what exactly do you find tough? Is it simply expressing what you want? Or are you criticizing one of your friends and don't want to hurt their feelings?

Do you socialize with your friends? If so, do you go out or just chat on the phone? Or, are your friends solely net friends? If they are net friends, then communication on the Internet is very different than in person.

You don't give too much to go on in your question so I'm not sure how much I could offer to you. But if you want to write to me, I'd be happy to talk with you and try to help you.
