Hi I'm 14 and have had my period for a year now. It's not that bad other than the bleeding through, pads/tampons, cramps, bloating, PMS, emotion, pregnancy, meds and etc! Well anyways its just a part of life and every women goes through it. Don't worry there's like a billion other women out there that get there period too.... we know how it is. Just be prepared and watch for signs when your going to get it!

I try to do all the normal things. I'm a horse trainer and therefore get a lot of exercise. I have found that is the only way I can relieve cramps other than taking a painkiller.

when you first start out its a breeze. carry pads in case it happens. your best bet? talk to your mother and ask her how her periods are. that is a good chance that you will have the same thing. my mother told me that she gets bad cramps. and what do you know. years after i got my period i have been getting bad cramps. my grandmother had them too so i guess that is my fate
