i have the same problem, usually around this time it starts to wane a little bit, but i'm 17 weeks and i still feel exhausted all the time. if you are feeling dizzy, tired, anything like that just sit down and relax, thats about all you can do for it.

You are exhausted because your body is an incubator growing a new human being.
You definatly need to take your vitamines. Eat healthy and try to nap when you can. After your first trimester you won't be as tired. If all you do it eat, sleep, and work now then that is what you need to do. Your body will get more balanced. Don't go long tmes without eating.
If there is anyway to cut back on your hours or take a few days off, do so. If you are always anemic.....talk to your doctor about that.
Only another woman who has been pregnant can understand the type of fatigue a woman has when being pregnant....nothing else compares to it.
Hang in there. you are making a beautiful baby

It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong. Pregnancy just makes you tired...exhausted even. You are taking on the huge task of carrying another life inside of you...not to mention everything else you may do in the course of a day. Some women, like myself have to work, but try your best not to exert yourself too much, and even if you feel very tired as long as you are able to sleep so that you're not just falling over tired you should be fine. And i know it sounds crazy but they do say the more sleep you get the more tired you are. So maybe you should cut back a little, bit and find some light exercising you can do. Hope this helps...

You arent doing anything wrong. This is what happens for a lot of women during the 1st trimester, and for several, through out the entire pregnancy. If you are anemic, this will be especially true. Just keep taking your prenatals and an iron supplement, drink and eat plenty of folid acid-rich foods. Take a brisk walk outside, even try prenatal swim classes.
Its a battle that some of us just never win, unfortunately. :(

There is nothing you can do about it love. You may start to feel a bit better in a few weeks. But I found the tiredness came back in the later stages, from about 30 weeks onwards.
Try not to 'catch up' on sleep. This just mucks up your sleeping patterns anyway. And excercise as much as you can. A nice brisk 30 minute walk after tea may make you sleep better at night - it worked for me. (And I think being fitter and healthier made the baby weight just slip off me after.)
Unfortunately not much sleep is going to be a pattern for you once the baby comes out anyway - so it is mother nature getting you prepared for it.

I felt the same way, plus I was really sick. I didn't really start feeling like I had more energy until around 22 weeks. I don't really have any good advice, other than I've been there, and can only imagine you yawning as you read this b/c its so hard to stay up past 8 pm!! ( i get up at 5 am too)

Make sure your eating healthy foods that will give you more strength. But honestly having gone through that twice all I can say is welcome to motherhood. It is a long road but it will all pay off when you hold your new baby for the first time. It is very common to feel exhausted during pregnancy. They only thing I can tell you is try and eat right it does somewhat help. Good luck.

I'm 14 weeks too and I can sympathize! My hubby makes fun of me cuz all I do is nap on weekends and after work! It's normal..you're not doing anything wrong. Your body is "building" a baby and it zaps our energy to help in that process. Just let yourself get as much rest as you can and try not to worry. If it concerns you too much though, just ask your doc and he will give you his advice.
Congrats!

You aren't doing anything wrong, you are just pregnant, that's all.
Are you taking iron supplements for your anaemia?
Did you know that a pregnant womans bnody works harder than a non pregnant woman's body that's climbing a mountain? Allow yourself to feel tired!

Take a day or two off work and just relax for the whole day.The only advice you can really get is to relax no ones knows how exhausted you are because they are not you .Just take it easy.
