Whether or not psychological oriented marketing is manipulative but How marketers manipulate people and why it works do you agree?

My topic is : Is psychological oriented marketing a way to manipulate people decisions or a way to understand their thinking when they buy?

And I think it is manipulative

I agree with his statement, as its a better wording of your idea and it makes sense.
Because if the marketing is psycological oriented, its going to be manipulative in any way possible.
Look at the Truth commercials on tv about smoking.
Those are manipulative enough to tell us facts about smoking without really telling us much.

You should point your direction toward how the marketers use their product to manipulate and how it works.
