More news coming out today from veterans groups pointing out that the Bush administration and the (former) GOP Congress has been underfunding the Veterans Administration--they don't have the money or the staff to provide adequate services to Americans veterans.

One more proof of how hypocriticalthe neocon cllaims that they support our troops--or our country. Because you can oppose an unjust war and still be a patriot. But you can't ignore the sacrifices and the needs of our troops and veterans and still claim to be patriotic.

I guess this is one more mes caused by neocon hypocrisy the nasty liberals will have to clean up! LOL

Excuses so far:
1) The VA says its doing fine (yeah, right. Thats what FEMA was saying while a thousand people were dying in New Orleans)
2) The democrats spend $400 billion a year in foreign aid? First, that's about 10 times more than the real figure and second the GOP has been running Congress for the last 12 years--so if it were true, it's their fault.

Next?

what happens to you after that. If this was made more obvious
when our young people are signing up, Bush wouldn't have a military. Disturbing.

had to make cuts somewhere because the left wingnut liberals have been giving $480 billion a year in foregin aide long before Bush got into office. Cut the military and the VA both! Let me do the budget, I bet I can make the VA a shining example of How to!

Actually, the VA is doing fairly well, according to the reports that I get from the VA. After the "war" there will undoubtably be a surge of claims and something will have to be done. That is one price of military action.
