Back in the sixth grade I tripped at the VERY BOTTOM of a ladder in the playground and my head hit this metal bolt. Than blood gushed out. At first i thought It was a simple bump on the head and I was sweating but it turns out blood was everyone on my face, shirt, and woodchips. All the kids looked freaked out when they saw me...well I didn't really care, it wasn't painful, I was use to stitches by than....but it was still worse than the black eye or dog bite tell you that!

I had a surfing accident where the fin of the board cut into my leg, down to the bone. I was about .5 cm from the femoral artery (I would have bled to death in minutes had I cut it). So, I had to have 2 surgeries to try and repair the muscles and I was on crutches for 2 months. I'm fine now though.

I got a tiny metal sliver in my eye at work. I rubbed my eye for a few days-it felt like sand or something.
By the time I went to the Emergency room it had rusted. I had to go to a specialist who numbed my eye and scraped the rust out.
When the numbness wore off it was so painful (like knives in my eye) and sensitive! I had a patch and still had to cover my eye with a washcloth and sit in the dark. The slightest bit of light was excruciating! Fortunately eyes heal very quickly.

I was in a car accident and my by the time I got out of the car I realized my hand was pointing in the entirely wrong direction. I was mortified! I had to have my hand snapped back into place and shortly after that surgery to have screws put into my arm. Needless to say I broke it pretty good.

once in sixth grade i was running from the cops at like 2am and tripped on a concrete slab in someones back yard. they were building a shed. the slab had 2ft long metal rods sticking up out of it and i landed on one and it impaled me through my abdoman. it went through my intestines and came out my back. they had to leave it through me until i got into surgery so i had to lay there and wait for them to cut the pole from the concrete. being impaled is pretty painful and scary.
