John, 55, died christmas morning. his condition wasn't acute enough when he called earlier that morning. the doctor was sorry he couldn't make housecalls because he was already working around the clock. the hospital administrator was sorry because he had used up all his health benefits, and they could only admit him unless he got worse. The hospital ran out of charity funds, and could only do something if it was an emergency. the caseworker was sorry. she had expleined to John he had to be worse or they couldn't pay, it was the law... the people she made the law were sorry. They had to balance state funds and they needed money for highways and education. the taxpayers were angry at the bill for extra health benefits. The people who elected the lawmakers were sorry but they didn't want to have to pay more taxes. John's wife was sorry that they didn't save more money for their old age.
Who killed him... the doctor, the administrator, the caseworker, the lawmakers, voters, or his wife?
