make sure your friend knows exactly how you feel about what she did. see what her response is and if it seems like she knows what she did wrong and she seems truly sorry then yes forgive her. people are always going to make mistakes because no one is perfect. also try putting yourself in her position on how she handled things. would you want to be forgiven? well if things work out and then get messed up again then maybe you should start drifting away because real friends don't do things they know they shouldn't all the time. and wether or not you forgive her, make sure you are careful about what you tell her and others. because really you cant trust anyone. it takes just a second for someone to turn their back on you. so if you don't want something out then you probably shouldn't say anything at all. but it is nice to let things out and you should have someone to tell things to, without a doubt. but good luck with everything!

1. Forgive her? Yes. It's easier than holding a grudge. And you don't have to tell her your forgive her. 2. Work things out with her? Absolutely not. You would always be careful of what you say, wondering what she will repeat it to people. 3. The two of you are probably drifting away because she knows how wrong she was. Maybe she learned her lesson and won't do this to another person in the future, but I wouldn't trust her again. A person becomes our friend because we trust them. She wasn't, trustworthy, was she!? I'm sorry she hurt you.

Of course you should forgive her. (And I'm not saying that on any religious grounds; I'm an atheist.)
However, that's a very separate question from whether you should ever tell her another secret or act as a friend to her.
And the answer to those questions is probably "No".

The way you respect your friend is real but she does not respect you she is not a friend and is probably jealous of you. When you tell a friend a secret about your life you dont expect it to go all around thats why its a secret go find a true friend.lol

real friends don't tell secrets. Especially dark secrets. step back and evaluate. My friend started to tell this one girl about who i liked because the girl was jealous and I started to get mad too, but I don't want to loose somebody over something like that. I'm still her friend, but the thing is I don't tell her anything that I don't want anyone else to know. You two can still be friends, but to cut it short keep your dark secrets away from her.

If she is violating your confidences, she can't be trusted. It's best to cut your losses now before this becomes even worse.
Forgiving people might make you feel holy and pious, but unless the offending person at least tries to atone somehow, it's futile.
Find some real friends instead.

Friends woundn't betray you like that, so keep that in mind.
If she really wants to be your friend, she will come p to you and beg for forgiveness. Try being friends with her aain and if she disobeys you again, say good bye.

she is not really your friend if she did that. i would just try to get over it and find more friends that you can trust. from now on though, i would keep my secrets to myself. there are a lot of people your age who are gossipers. hope this helps. good luck.
