an accurate prediction of the babies sex occured? I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks for date purposes and they told me that it was a boy. Well yesterday I had an ultrasound at the hospital (my OB thought I ruptured a membrane and sent me to the ER) at 18 weeks and it is indeed a boy and oh my was he showing off. :) Anyone else had them predict it early and be correct. Just curious. Thanks.

I have been doing ultrasound for over 11 years , and yes , I have seen BOYS at 12 weeks. Never been able to get a girl that early with any confidence.

Congrats on your son !

my best friend had one at about that time and they told her that she was having a boy. But i had like 4 ultrasounds and we did not know what we were having until 32 wk.. my son was way too shy and modest i hope that sticks around!

no, but i think they make less mistakes when they say it's a boy than when they think it's a girl. when they say it's a girl sometimes they can't see the penis but when they say it's a boy, they're mostly correct b/c they see the penis on him
