The Oscars go Green! Come on! How many celebs arrived via limo or private jet. We are to conserve and address the "global warming" while stars have four homes, private jets, limos, many cars, and certainly don't walk anywhere. I am sick to death of these pampered out of touch play actors trying to dictate what the country wants or needs. They are nothing but vain self-absorbed individuals who believe their own hype.

So true, Mr Green himself, Al Gore accepted a Gold statue. Gold as you know in South America is gotten by high pressure hoses destroying the environment. They all fly around in private jets, which use tons of fuel polluting the air and think nothing about it. The Oscars are all politics, not truly an award for outstanding performance. Can you figure why Eddie Murphy got nominated for about 4 minutes of serious work in Dream girls? Most of the movie he was being a clown, just like usual. Most of the Hollywood crowd is making me sick also. Bring back the Jimmy Stewarts and people like him.

I totally agree with you 100%.
Actors and NBA players, NFL players, etc. .. don't contribute squat to Real World answers.
For example, Who invented the Radio?
who invented TV? Who discovered polio vaccine?
Why is that no one can ever remember these important people?
But, when it comes to sports, or movies or tv-shows, it's easy to remember.
Actors, and professional ball players don't produce anything, don't invent anything, don't do anything!!!

Beautifully said! You hit it right on the head. Celebrities believe in "Do as I say not as I do." They'll criticize you for not driving a hybrid car, all while they fly in private jets and heat their mansions.
