attempt maximum appropriate clicking on that "pop-up" container and then if it provides a lot ideas, if it says something regarding do away with or something, then click on it. it might artwork. that's how I have been given it away. Edit: Oh, you mean those pop-united stateslike Netflix? I hate those too. Is that what you mean?

Try mozilla firefox it is more secure than IE. If you are using IE then download yahoo pop-up blocker b/c it works the best.

go to conrtol panel on ur start menu, click it, then go to security center, then click internet options and then choose the level of security u want which will block popups higher u go less popups

download the yahoo toolbar, its got a pup-up blocker that really works! ;-)

you might want to get an adware spyware tool and scan for trojons -- it might be a browser hijacker trying to take over your browser

opera works pretty well for me and i don't get any popups.
