what is graduate school? do u have to attend a university before u can get into it??

Not only do you have to attend a university, you must graduate. There are many courses you can take while working on a BA or a BS degree that are also open to graduate students. The grad students generally have a little more work to do.

Grad school is great and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

Generally, yes, you have to possess a Bachelor's Degree to attend graduate school.

Most Master programs last two years, and culminate with having to write and defend a thesis.

If you continue your education the next step is earning your Doctorate.

Yes, you have to get your bachelors first. It can be either a masters degree or a doctorate degree.

Typically, grad schools want to see some standardized test in addition to your undergraduate grades. In the US, it's not always the GRE though. Medical schools require the MCAT, law schools require the LSAT, etc.

It is education after the Bachelor's level...Master's and PhD programs are generally what most graduate education is..there are a few certificate programs. Yes..you have to finish your BA or BS first....then you take entrance exams..much like the SAT or ACT...called the GRE.
