I'm suspecting myself of being pregnant. Anytime I eat, things just taste stale, and these are BRAND NEW items!! Does anyone know if this is a sign or symptom of pregnancy? Thanks!

First off you should take a home test. Second, yes it could be a sign. When I was pregnant with my second child I suddenly couldn't stand the taste or smell of canned corn. I never had that problem before.

No you cant be sure. Its pretty unreliable to use taste buds to tell you your pregnant. A sure fire way is to get a pregnancy test they relatively cheap they can reach from $1-20! The price has no effect on the outcome all the test except the electric one use chemical reactions to product lines or other symbols.

Not sure if you can say this is a sign or not, rather get a pregnancy test. If positive then you know if food taste funny next time you are pregnant. If negative, wel then have have to seriously look at your food supply

Other factors that may cause taste change include:

A dry mouth.
Loss of smell. Much of what is thought of as taste is actually smell.
Minor infections, such as a cold or flu.
Cigarette smoking or the use of smokeless (spit) tobacco.
Medication or surgery. Medications that commonly distort taste include thyroid medications, captopril, griseofulvin, lithium, penicillamine, procarbazine, rifampin, vinblastine, and vincristine.
Nutritional deficiencies of zinc or vitamin B12.
Injury.
Certain diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Bell's palsy, hepatitis, Sjögren's syndrome, and oral cancer.

i believe it can be. When I was pregnant, I couldnt even stand the taste of toothpaste. I had to use childrens toothpaste! I loved Hi-C juice, I couldnt drink that either then. As well as other food. So my tastes had changed while I was pregnant. Good luck.

I never had those symptoms. I suggest you stick to the more viable symptoms such as missed periods, nausea, & tender breasts. And the number one thing to do when you suspect pregnancy is.......TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST!

Actually that's a sign that my ex-wife is doing the cooking! She's the reason I learned to cook, bless her heart.

Congratulations mom!
