id rather see things they like.. but everytime i try to change my avatar it wont show :(

I don't have anything against the shadow... necessarily...but it's kinda non existent... the Yahoo Avatars are a step up... some are fun, and even getting familiar...
I prefer (and probably choose more often) the picture representations avatars though.. not necessarily the self portraits.. but the icons, images that they choose is interesting...unique.. and often representational of the humour and/or attitude in the questions.

If you're over 20 and not in perfect shape, the avatars never look anything like you, regardless of what settings you use. Mine's pretty close, though.

We need more real pics around here. Kinda freaky seeing all these cartoon people. Feels like in anime world or something.

Yes, I want to see everyone's REAL picture instead of those stupid cartoons that manipulate us all. And I especially hate those grey silhouettes!! I always think I am answering a man!! Show your REAL FACE!!! @80)

i hate the shadow people they scare me and the real pics are kinda hard to see-so i s'pose a facsimile of a person on their avatar is best

I would use an avatar because its safer and its fun to dress them and stuff

I think the avatar's are cute and they are safer for the users
