you used to be able to get a book which explained exactly how to do it - my brother got one and it worked for him.
Me ? I just took the whole thing apart and put it back together in the right places ( the stckers never go back on right and everyone can tell you cheated.)

by moving all squares of the same color to each side of the cube, so that each side of the cube is one solid color

i agree...take the stickers off and peel them in order. or you could do it the old fashioned way and frustrate yourself to hell
