And if so, what was the temp you used? And no, I am not a beginner fish keeper. I am well aware of temperature requirements for both fish. I am just wondering if I can find a happy medium for the two and if anyone else has tried.

Yep, I currently house loaches with a raphael, and I keep the temp at 76 degrees. Both fish are active, eat well, and look good, so it seems to be a happy medium.

I've never tried it, buy catfish tend to be pretty hearty and can adapt to many different environments. I suggest putting the temp closer to the dojo loach's prefered temp.

Keep your tem set on a constant 78 degrees and you will have no problem with any of your aquarium fish. The only time you have a problem regarding temperature is if it fluctuates. Keep it constant.
