A good way to remember is the FON as in phone
f- fluorine O- oxygen N-Nitrogen

A remark to those who said H2O was hydrogen bonding:
H20 is a covalent bond since 2 elements are sharing electrons and they are both nonmetals.
All I know is that H2O is not a hydrogen bond.
