My College teacher thought we should try and do some easy stuff in class (5th grade work) to see if we could pass for a grade-here it is: Suppose 3 states produce 7/16 (it's a fraction) of the gold in the United States each year. Suppose 7 other states produce 3/16 (it's a fraction) of the gols produced in the United states each year comes from these 10 states?

the numbers separated with the / are fractions, i just couldn't get the slash thing... of i already know the answer but can you figure it out???

7 states have 3/16
