the phrase means that you shouldnt reply to the job if you think that you cannot do the work. you should always choose a job that isnt too much for you and that you can take the responsibility. if you are at a job interview, then the phrase means that you shouldnt respond to a question starting with "I THINK" and you shouldnt sound not sure of yourself
