my family wants to have a family reunion for the 10th time we hardly even see each other and we have so much jealousy in the family and a lot of old wounds that have not been heal. we are stubborn beyond belief, i have tried many times to get alone but to no avail. i just give up and pray for them and me too. all suppose to be christians but 2 we have 8 in the family and many children i don't want to go i feel by going will only lead to morer heartach and why should i go when we do not get alone what do you think?

don't go. what's the point? you shouldn't surround yourself by negative relationships, family or not. from the sound of it, it's not immediate family members so why waste your time? why get all upset again? it's not gonna do anybody any good.

You should be a bit more optomistic about this...
It's not easy with issues in the family...but through thick and thin, that's what they are...your family...
