Hello, does anyone know of lodging houses, cottages, pension houses or hostels in cebu city where I can stay for 1 week. I want a place where I am allowed to cook food. Thank you very much.

rooms rented out a sleeping quarters are not allowed to have stoves as this would violate both the fire code. use only the kitchen as cooking area.

The Apartels on Gorodo are good for what you want, but availability for one week is another question.
Doing your own cooking seriously restricts your choice.
Is this because of special diet or cost saving. Because you will find many suitable eating places for your food preferences, and there are many low cost, but excellent eating places over the whole of Cebu. Pete's Kitchenette is very popular, on Pelaez.
The only place I know of that will allow cooking, apart from those mentioned on Gorodo, is situaded some 35 kilometres from Cebu City centre.
