i am in a 7th grade civics class and for the 5th graders we're doign a skit 5-1 minutes long(each class)thursday and i am the reporter the main person and ihave to say so mucch and we only work on it 3 days before we actually have to do it! i can not memorize all that in three days ! so do you have any ideas how i can portray that i'm not looking at my lines but i really am??? thanks!!

Use a note pad and write the line s down on it.....you can use the notepad as a prop..........and add a pencil to top this prop off.

Nope. Actors learn they're lines. If you only work on it in class, you won't be able to memorize it. work on it outside of class and you'll be fine. Nothing is more obvious than when an actor is reading form her palm, off stage, etc. bite the bullet and memorize your lines. You can do it. Be the best reporter you can be!

use a note pad and pencil, but only write reminders, ect... but try ur hardest to memorize
