I was robbed through western union.
I reported it to the police and they tried to get the information as to where it was cashed because it was not sent to the exact location I had requested.
They are liable but are saying that it can be cashed anywhere in the uk even thought I requested a specific location.
What should I do? I have a few ideas but would like info to make the best decision.

I previously worked for Western Union.
when you send money thru western union was it fast service?
within 15 minutes? These are the steps

complete the "to send form"
the money transfer is put into the system and can be picked up anywhere. There is not specific location.
the payee walks any where and completes the "receive money form" name, address, senders name and address phone number, amount of money expected. the receipents needs to match all this information along with I.D or answer the test question if a test question was provided.
If the payee never received the money file a written complaint to western union. Your Money is Guarenteed. Follow procedures Western Union procedures to file your complaint.

Cash through Western union can be cashed at any location in the UK!
Specific locations stated makes no difference!
I am afraid there is nothing you can do, someone else must have known about this transaction, and their point will be, that the details was shared with a third party, they got the cash, and you are trying to pull a fast one1!
