He was elected because America wanted a born again Christian in the White House. We wanted a White House without fornication and marital problems. We wanted some decency in the White House. If I had known we were going to war I would have wanted at least a Four Star General. One who could tell Washington to shut up, sit down and listen. Where is Eisenhower when you need him?

For the same reason they voted for a former peanut farmer and a philandering skirt chaser; there was nothing better out there in the two mainstream parties and the majority of the country is too lazy to look into third parties, even if it is in their best interests and the best interest of the country.

First of all, we didn't elect him. We elected Gore. Secondly, look at the red states. Almost identical contrast to the Union/Confederate states during the civil war. Look at all the Bush supporters in Nascar(the sport with cars driving in circles for hours at a time). Not exactly the brightest crowd. Bush played the God card and won the red neck/bible thumper vote. He is pro guns and claims god speaks to him. I'm sorry, but Republicans are some of the most gullible people. Any rational thinker knows better than to support this clown.
"You can fool some of the people all the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on."

we didn't. His brother sacrificed the democratic process in order to put a Bush boy in the White House. Then, there was the second election fear/purchase...a travesty all around. I hear all Washington fears the severe retribution the Bushes employ toward anyone who dares oppose their schemes to consolodate power and riches. We should all pray and vote.

Same reason America elected the liar and adulterer Mr. Clinton. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

He promised we could watch war on TV, and keep our guns to play war with. and that we would all get a rush from killing people, like if we were on cocaine or something, he led us to believe we could act like the bully of the block(world) again. Children will support anyone that allows them feel important or empowered. the people were manipulated and they didn't know it. what a bunch of idiots. Children don't like to be called idiots either.

because the party nominate them - we rather choose the candidate from a strong party than the 3rd party! Why nominating them? They show some promises of course!
