Im rly nervous about cheer tryouts!!! But 2day i got my backhandspring on a mat!!! Though i have to have it in a mnth on hard ground!! I dont think ill make it but all my family, freinds, and previous coaches say im a great dancer(i dont think so) have sharp motions, great jumps, and is one of the best cheerleaders!!!Not 2 brag but my scale is perfect and i do have great jumps and sharp motions!!! LOL!!! Im very discouraged!!! Do you think ill have my backhandspring on ground in a month, and do you think ill make it? Peas be honest!!!!

just be confident; just practice and do your best- if you display an 'air' of confidence, you will do great.

I know how you feel im the best of the best too. I for one think you'll make it regardless of what you think, because you seem like a great cheerleader and back handsprings always add a bonus to cheerleading. I have cheer tryouts on march 2nd so i know how you feel I went to the gym today to learn the cheer and it was lots of fun and I forgot all about being nervous or discouraged. Youll make it just be sure to smile during cheers and be confident and peppy. GL!

I think It depends On how Much You Want it, If you are SO determined to Get that Backhandspring on ground. GO FOR IT!!. ofcourse you can do it, Just Keep Doing it Over & over. Not so much that you hurt yourself ofcourse. BUt Sure U can do It!!.

I landed my back hand-spring in a week when I was 10. I'm pretty sure you'll make it :]
