Dont you Get sooo Mad when a person comes to a hockey game Cheering for a Diffrent team that arnt even playing!?!?! And wearing a Diffrent Jersey!?!?

I love it when anybody wears a Hockey Jersey from any team...They are supporting the greatest sport. Hockey gets a bad rap because of the lack of T.V. air time and coverage which caused the lack of hockey knowledge to the general public and a lockout in the 04-05 season,yet all of those football and baseball fans 4get they're seasons that were cut short due to player strikes. Baseball has players that are on the juice and breaking records which = *astrick and a commisioner that calls an All-Star game in Milwaukee leaving it to end in a tie. Please,don't get me started with the Once called NFL (No Fun League) should be called the TOL (Terrell Owens League) So anyone who wants to support they're team by wearing they're jersey to a hockey game or anywhere for that matter does'nt bother me.I think it looks silly if there team is not playing,but as long as mine is on , its alll good. Support Hockey anyway you can.

Its Really Annoying... and Unfortunately Very Popular in my region (Ottawa Senators)... i've been to about a dozen games or so in the last 2 years at ScotiaBank Place (Ottawa Senators) and EVERY SINGLE ONE i have seen atleast 20 ppl wearing a leafs jersey.. and of the dozen i think twice we played the leafs.
I don't have a problem if your gonna cheer for the away team... but the last game i was at takes the cake... it was against Boston a few weeks ago. and these leafs fans were behind me and there ONLY reason that i could see for being there was to Boo Alfredsson.. i'm like thats just ignant... about 50 of us complained to the security guard and fortunately they were removed. But its really annoying.
Being a fan of the Game is Awesome.. but if you want to wear a jersey to the game and you dont have one of one of the teams playing... either wear a generic jersey (team canada for ex,) or do without.

Absolutely. I think it is disrespectful to the teams playing to be wearing a jersey of a team not playing. I understand having ties to a team where you used to live and still rooting for them but do not wear there jersey to a game they aren't playing in. It makes absolutely no sense and only makes you look like an idiot. The way I see it, why root for any team but the home team. You pay taxes that most likely help with the upkeep of the arena so might as well cheer for them. On another note with jersey's I think its stupid when grown men wear jerseys and get them autographed. There is a time and place for that its called childhood. Except in the case of areas like Calgary where the have the largest percentage of fan base to jersey owners and everyone who goes to the game wears a jersey.

I agree with the fact they should not wear the jersey of a team that is not playing at the game they are going to. But I don't have a problem with someone rooting for the visiting team. I think it is cool to go to other arenas to see my team play.

I don't really care what jersey someone else is wearing. I'm more upset with people who insist on standing up when you are trying to watch the game.

No, because they pay the same amount for a ticket as you. Sometimes people move away but are still attached to their team...the only way to see them is to go to a nearby arena when they play the local team.

What I get mad at is hearing the Corporate Trash that now frequents Madison Square Garden rooting for the opponent. My exact feelings on that would constitute abuse, so use your imagination.

OMG yess!!!! I went to a game, Calgary against L.A
and there were these people behind us yelling GO OILERS GO!
i was like in my head... SHUT UP!
I was getting p'oed . it was soo frikin annoying . i wanted to go beat em up!!!!
And yes they were also wearing an oilers jersey!! it was CRAP.
LIKE SERUSLY!.. It was so stupid for them to be there. they were probably just there to annoy ppl... and i guess they succeded.!~!~~~~~!!!
