If not why?

Usually I will not, because they are already immature enough as it is. But this varies from person to person. I once dated a 28 year old (I was 23) because I thought they were older and more mature and he turned out to be the most immature of all. Typically, men uh i mean boys need years to become mature (like decades) but if you really like them and they are younger, if you both like each other enough you can make it work!

I dated a younger guy (11 years younger....he was 21 at the time) a while back for several months. I would not do it again. Though he was a nice guy, he also was in the process of experiencing a lot of things and sorting through a lot of personal issues that I had already finished with. I didn't (and don't) feel that I need to re-live all of the issues I worked through 10 years ago.

Also, he referred to my friends and me as the "adults" and insisted on pointing out my age (I was 32) to everyone he spoke to. Not cool...

As long as the younger man were of legal age, sure I'd go out with him!

Perhaps,if honest, non promiscuous, mature of mind ,and heart, wanting true love, devout friendship ,sharing, and caring,100% healthy, seeking a just us long term relationship, especially if they look as exquisite as 'nonymous',and of course are consensual in age.
Of course this is true for any orientation-by whatever stereotype.
Whether between male & female or same gender I would think.
