ok i have a midterm on constitutional law, and my teacher asked us what is the importance of Marbury v. Madison to Constitutional Law? what is it's impotance vis-a-vis other cases appearing in front of the Supreme Court? this will so help thank you.

i know what Marbury v. Madison is but if he asked me about the link between ohter cases and this one i can just say judicial review and that's it?

Marbury v. Madison established the power of Judicial review. It is the first case that established the power of the Supreme Court to overrule acts of the legislative and the executive branches of the government.
