are black roses real?

ive heard of a red black one.n i dont mean black because it wilted.n if there is,where can i find them?

As for an naturally occuring absolute BLACK rose, it doesnt exist. I have seen a variety of a deep dark red, very dark, but not black type of rose, its called a Hybrid Tea Rose 'Oklahoma', and I have only seen them in one catalog, http://gurneys.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_13416

But as for a truly black rose, nope. Now, it is possible to make a black rose. The trick is to inject black food coloring into the stem, or allow it to soak in water with black food coloring, the darker the flower, the better the results, so a red rose done like so would work. You can also make multicolored roses this way too by injecting different colors into different parts of the bottom of the stem on a white rose.

Nope! No such thing as a black rose, although even apart from picture enchancement, there's a trick you can do with certain flowers by splitting the bottom of the stem and stickign each part into a different food coloring mix, it'll absorb throught he flower and through the petals. It works with carnations, not so sure about roses.

Hi - Yes there is a black rose and it is called "Black Beauty" i purchased mine from "Treloars" online. The description says it is dark red but mine is black and my mother-in- laws is black and we live in two separate climates from each other-I'm in the Snowy Mountains and my Mother-in-Law is in Sydney.
Black Beauty is a beautiful rose.

yes;red black roses are real, they are a very deep red which gives the allure of a black rose.To my knowlege they are seasonal but all GOOD florists should sell them however they do tend to cost a bit more. Hope this helps!

Black is a euphemism for a very dark red rose. There are many of these and some of them have the word 'black' in their name (i.e. Black Prince, Black Ice, Black Jade). However, they are not truly black. There really is no such thing. Would be really fantastic if they where truely black though.
