I was reading your responses and they are not exactly correct. The prostate gland only contributes "prostatic fluid" to your ejaculate. There are other glands in the male reproductive tract that contribute to the ejaculate. Spermatazoa are produced in the testes, and carried through the semeniferous tubules where it is combined with prostatic fluid, and fluid from other glands along the way. So the answer to your question is YES. Men can still ejaculate status post prostate surgery (depending on the type of surgery. If the entire prostate is removed then it is less likely that there will be much ejaculate however, many men who undergo prostate surgery only have a portion of it removed. Therefore, men can still ejaculate. Although it may be more difficult and the amount of ejaculate is less in volume, I have patients who have undergone TURP (trans-urethral resection of prostate-partial or complete) for prostate cancer, or partial removal of the prostate and still have orgasms. I have no idea where your responders got their information but in my ten years of practice of medicine, I can tell you men can still ejaculate. The problem with prostate surgery is incontinence of urine. Thats the big problem.
I hope this helped answer your questions.

Warren Shaffer, M.D.

Absolutely.
While a portion of ejaculate IS produced in the prostate, a portion is also produced in the testicles. A man who has had his prostate removed can definitely still ejaculate. It will be a smaller amount, and usually with les force – but I have seen, and swallowed the proof.
