Professional exterminators. Don't mess with termites, especially the subterranean kind. They could be living in a nest three houses away, so spraying yours won't help.

Unfortunately, the pesticides a licensed person can spray are safer and more effective than anything a DIYer can buy over the counter.

There is no easy way to exterminate termites. The best & most effective way is the Sentricon system. They are inground stations (they look like Malibu lights, only flush to the ground) that monitor the termite activity. The termites feed off of the treated wood placed inside of the in-ground stations bringing the poison back to the "colony" and the other termites feed off of it, hopefully eliminating it. Your exterminator comes monthly/quarterly, etc. to digitally monitor these stations. It's expensive, but really, the only way to go. The outdated method was drilling into the ground and using chlordane, which is now outlawed, so other chemicals are used. It basically is impossible to "get rid" of them. Sentricon is made by Dow, so I'm sure if contacted, they would send a brochure/video. Good luck~
